On a Subject Most Grave…

I have to say this today:
Does
the subject of death floor you?
Render
you speechless; desperately uncomfortable?
Like
nothing else?
Having recently grieved
the death of a friend, I can relate. It’s an inconceivable mystery, even for
those of us who know for certain where we’re going after this life.
BUT,
those who trust in the Lord have this hope:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life.” John 3:16 (NKJV)
This
morning “should not perish” jumped out at me–struck me anew–and
flooded my eyes with tears.
Our
friend knew Jesus. Therefore HE DID NOT PERISH, even though
his earthly body did. And he is now sitting at his Savior’s feet, relishing THE
GOOD LIFE. Where he’ll be FOREVER.
Friends,
I don’t want to waste one moment of this life. God commissioned me with a
ministry of words. And so at the risk of sounding dramatic, I don’t
want you to waste one moment of yours.

If
there are any of you who don’t know where you’ll spend eternity, PLEASE message
me. Call me. Email me. I would be honored to tell you the TRUTH I know, and
humbly lead you to my Savior.
He
longs to be yours, too, and has since your birth. I promise you that.
If
not me, get with someone who will do the same for you.
Don’t wait.

“Jesus
said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though
he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never
die. Do you believe this?’” John 11:25, 26 (NKJV)
-In
His Love, Leslie
